I've been working on improved versions of some of my 3D work. I've been told that many of them are just too dark. So I've been debating whether I should replace them or just add updated versions and I'm not really sure which is the best route to go.

FWIW, if it's just lightening the scene, replacement is probably fine. If there's more reworking involved, it might be worthwhile to upload it separately, perhaps with a link to the original and a short explanation of what changes you made?
